Local Show

I have a show coming up at the Elsinore Gallery in downtown Salem, Oregon that will run through the month of November. The show will focus on my daily paintings, which are affordable miniature original paintings in the 4"x4" to 5"x7" range. There will be a reception from 3-5pm on Saturday, Nov. 1st. The exhibition will also feature a couple of larger originals as well as a selection of limited edition prints. The purpose of the show, however, is to showcase these unique originals. Below are some examples and if you would like to see more of my daily paintings, there is a special blog dedicated to them at this link - Daily Paintings Blog. There is also a subscription link on the blog where you can receive a new painting each time one is posted.

Daily Paintings Update

For a little over a month I have been completing postcard size (and smaller) paintings almost everyday. Over this time frame they have morphed somewhat from being studies to being a bit more complete. I have also started a blog - link here - that is updated each time one of these paintings is completed. One new feature on this blog is a box where, if interested, you can receive an email containing an image of a new painting each time one is posted. Below are some examples of my recent daily paintings.

Aspens (Sold)

Everyday for the next week, I am going to complete a postcard size study that will be auctioned off on eBay. Most of these will be completed first thing in the morning to start off my painting day and get me warmed up for the detailed work of my studio pieces. Here's the catch - each painting's opening bid will be $1. If you have been looking to make the jump to collecting original paintings, now is your chance. Each painting will average the size of a postcard; meaning they will be between 4"x4" and 5"x7". As an artist, I am always looking to grow and this should improve my studio paintings as these studies are a fantastic exercise in painting. Happy Bidding!
